When biomaterials change the rules, regeneration changes with them. Explore innovative concepts in implant therapy, from buccal wall reconstruction and socket management to ridge augmentations, through the clinical application of NOVAMag® SHIELD and cerabone® plus by botiss biomaterials.
Regenerative dentistry is entering a new era, driven by biomaterials that do more than simply fill defects – they actively shape surgical concepts, simplify treatment protocols, and enable more predictable clinical outcomes. From preserving the extraction socket to reconstructing complex alveolar defects, innovative materials are redefining how clinicians approach hard tissue regeneration and implant site development.
In this webinar, participants will follow the clinical journey from socket management to advanced ridge augmentation, discovering how the latest regenerative solutions can improve both biological and clinical outcomes. Particular emphasis will be placed on NOVAMag® SHIELD, a fully resorbable magnesium solution that represents a novel approach to immediate buccal wall reconstruction following tooth extraction. Successful regeneration, however, relies not only on effective defect containment but also on the selection of the right grafting material. As the clinical complexity increases, from socket preservation to larger augmentation procedures, the webinar will also explore how cerabone® plus, a hyaluronic acid-enhanced xenograft, complements this concept by supporting efficient handling and stable bone regeneration. Together, these next-generation biomaterials offer new treatment strategies that simplify clinical workflows while maintaining the predictability required for long-term implant success.
By the end of the session, participants will have a deeper understanding of how next-generation biomaterials are transforming contemporary implant dentistry, how to select the most appropriate regenerative strategy based on defect morphology, and how these innovations can be translated into everyday clinical practice.
This session is supported by botiss biomaterials GmbH.
