Jovana Markovic DDS, MSC, PhD, graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Belgrade, Serbia where she is currently working as a Teaching assistant at Implant Center, School of Dental Medicine, University of Belgrade. She completed her three-year residency program and has been a specialist in prosthodontics since 2021. She is an active member of the International Implantology Team (ITI) and in 2022 she received a scholarship and spent a year at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Boston, USA, where she perfected her knowledge and skills in modern implantology under the mentorship of Dr. German Gallucci. Not long after, she became one of the Junior editors of the education platform within the ITI Academy. Dr. Markovic defended her PhD thesis in December 2024 titled “Immediate loading with provisional prosthetic restoration by means of One Abutment One Time and temporary abutment in the posterior mandible: clinical, radiological and laboratory analysis”. She is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications and has lectured at prestigious events.
