Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Singh is a distinguished academician and clinician with over 20 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Endodontics. He currently serves as the Dean Research and Professor & Head, Department of Endodontics at Desh Bhagat Dental College & Hospital, Mandi Gobindgarh, India
In addition, he is the Director, Research and Development of Desh Bhagat University Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.
A recipient of the prestigious “Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam National Award for Oral Health Innovation and Research” (2025), Dr. Singh is widely recognized for his contributions to dental education, innovation, and clinical excellence. During his undergraduate education, he was awarded eight gold medals and six silver medals for academic excellence
He holds an MDS in Endodontics from Government Dental College, Nagpur, and has further expanded his academic credentials with an MBA in Healthcare and Hospital Management, a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Research from James Lind University, Switzerland, and completion of the “Improving Global Health” course from Harvard University. He has also done his PhD in Endodontics.
An accomplished innovator, he holds 2 granted and 6 Published patents, 5 granted copyrights, and 2 registered trade names granted by the Intellectual Property Department, Government of India. He is the inventor of Natural Dent Toothpaste and Natural Dent Mouthwash.
Dr. Singh has previously served as Principal of two reputed dental colleges in North India, and is the author of five textbooks, has published 121 research papers in national and international journals.
He has represented India at several conferences including the ones held in Nepal, Bangladesh, Maldives, Malaysia, Taiwan, United Kingdom and France. Till date, he has delivered lectures as an invited guest speaker at 110 national and international conferences.
