Victoria Patrounova RDH, MHA is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas in Houston, School of Dentistry in the Department of Periodontics and Dental Hygiene. Ms. Patrounova earned her certificate in Dental Hygiene from UT Dental Branch in 1999 and her Masters in Healthcare Administration from Texas Woman’s University in 2007.
Before joining faculty at UT SD in 2009 Victoria was a guest lecturer and has been practicing dental hygiene in Houston area for ten years. She teaches in pre-clinic, clinic and presents continuing education courses on local and national levels. Her areas of interest include nitrous oxide conscious sedation, smoking trends and tobacco cessation.
Ms. Patrounova is an advisor for UT Student Chapter of ADHA. She also serves as a committee chair for Greater Houston Dental Hygiene Society, a Poster Presentations/Table Clinics committee chair for Texas Dental Hygiene Educators’ Association and as a member of Student Affairs Council for Texas Dental Hygienists Association. Victoria was a 2013 recipient of Colgate scholarship for ADEA ITL.
