Kostas is an experienced specialist prosthodontist, an academic and a researcher. He has been involved in academia since 2008 and is now a Clinical Lecturer at University College London. He leads Bio-Emulation in the UK, an international group of dentists united by the drive to preserve and restore dental tissues using nature as a guide. He co-founded Prosthoworks delivering advanced private prosthodontic education since 2021. His areas of interests are fully guided composites, managing the worn dentition and naturally looking prostheses. He also works in specialist practice limited to Prosthodontics in the London area.

DT João Paulo Martins Esturrado began his dental technology journey at 16, working in a local dental laboratory during school holidays. Growing up in a family of dentists, he gained early insight into the connection between clinical dentistry and laboratory craftsmanship. In 2013, he moved to London to broaden his experience, working with leading dental technicians and developing a philosophy that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern digital workflows. In 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, he accepted the opportunity to establish and lead a new dental laboratory, focusing on advanced materials, efficient digital workflows, and high-quality aesthetic restorations. Today, João is founder of Digitally Handcrafted and a Dental Technology Instructor at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London (UCL). He is actively involved in teaching and mentoring dental professionals, with a focus on digital dentistry, clinician–technician communication, and integrating traditional principles into modern restorative workflows.
