Professional Liability in the Dental Practice

Mark Buczko is a native of Chicago, IL and has worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years. A graduate of Loyola University with a BBA in Marketing, he is now a student of the insurance industry and currently holds several prestigious industry designations.

Mark began his career in the insurance industry in 1978. In 1987 he began working with dentists when he joined the dental professional liability business unit for CNA Insurance Companies. He became the Underwriting Manager of their dental program in 1990 when it was the largest program of its type in the country. In 1994 Mark’s responsibilities expanded to include management of CNA’s Nurse’s and Allied Healthcare programs.

In 1997 Mark left CNA for Aon Corporation to become a Vice President of Affinity Insurance Services. Mark’s responsibilities include relationship management and risk management for Affinity’s Healthcare Association clients; as well as aspects of underwriting and marketing for the Dentist’s Advantage Program.
Mark is currently President of the Board of Directors of the National Society of Dental Practitioners, a risk management organization for dentists.
