Prof. Erhan Dursun graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry in 2004 and completed his PhD in Periodontology at the same institution in 2010. He was appointed Assistant Professor in 2013, promoted to Associate Professor in 2017, and achieved full Professorship in 2024.

His areas of expertise include periodontal medicine, maxillary sinus complications and endoscopic solutions, sports dentistry, digital implantology, immediate implant placement and loading protocols, as well as advanced hard and soft tissue augmentation techniques. He actively engages in interdisciplinary collaborations with departments of otolaryngology, plastic and aesthetic surgery, and endocrinology.

Prof. Dursun is an active member of both the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) and the Turkish Society of Periodontology. He has an extensive portfolio of publications in international peer-reviewed journals and is a frequent invited speaker at national and international conferences. He currently maintains a clinical practice at EOT Clinic Ankara and holds an academic position in the Department of Periodontology at Istanbul Beykent University.
