PEARLS IN DENTAL THERAPEUTICS

Sebastian G. Ciancio, DDS, is Distinguished Service Professor and Chair of the Dept. of Periodontics and Endodontics, Adjunct Professor of Pharmacology at the University at Buffalo, Schools of Medicine and Dentistry. He also is Director of the Center for Dental Studies at UB, diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, president of the International Academy of Periodontology, past president of the American Academy of Periodontology  and author of over 150 scientific papers. Also, he has been a member of the US Pharmacopea Council of Dental Experts and currently is editor of the American Dental Association/Physcians Desk Reference Guide to Dental Therapeutics. He has received a number of national honors including the Distinguished Scientist Award in Pharmacology from the International Assn. for Dental Research.
