Material selection and digital workflows for full-arch implant rehabilitation
This course simplifies full-arch implant rehabilitation by clarifying material selection, reducing confusion around hybrid prostheses, and addressing common complications. It also introduces a streamlined digital workflow that eliminates verification steps, enabling clinicians to complete predictable full-arch cases in just two appointments using any intraoral scanner.
The fixed rehabilitation of fully edentulous implant patients can be a demanding task. In particular, the selection of restorative materials can be confusing for clinicians, given the number of new and previously existing options available. Also, until now, intraoral scanners have not been accurate enough to support a full-arch digital workflow without verification. This results in additional clinical steps, reducing efficacy, efficiency and profitability. This presentation will focus on the material selection for fixed full-arch implant rehabilitations and their digital workflows. Advantages, disadvantages, and potential complications of various restorative options and novel materials will be discussed. Strategies to improve the behavior of different “hybrid prostheses” options will be addressed. Innovative technology that incorporates a fast, easy-to-follow digital workflow, that allows clinicians to complete a full-arch fixed implant rehabilitation in just two appointments using any intra-oral scanner will also be presented.
