Immediate implant placement has transformed the management of compromised and esthetically demanding extraction sites, offering the potential to shorten treatment time while preserving the architecture of the peri-implant tissues.
However, successful immediate implant therapy depends on more than simply placing an implant at the time of extraction—it requires careful case selection, atraumatic extraction, three-dimensional implant positioning, and strategic management of the hard- and soft-tissue envelope.
This webinar will explore evidence-based protocols for predictable immediate implant placement, discussing single teeth to full arch clinical situations.Key considerations including socket morphology, facial bone integrity, implant positioning, gap management, provisionalization, bone augmentation and soft-tissue enhancement will be discussed. Common pitfalls, complications and decision-making challenges will be highlighted through clinical cases, providing practical strategies to improve tissue stability, esthetic outcomes, and long- term predictability.
The focus will be on transforming the immediate implant from a time-saving procedure into a biologically driven, prosthetically guided and predictable treatment strategy.
