Dr. med. dent. Cristian Scognamiglio graduated with honors at the University of Varese (Italy) in 2018, his final graduation research was published in the international peer-reviewed journal “BMC Oral Health” and was selected as the best research of the year in the field of oral surgery by the SIDP (Italian Society of Parodontology).
From 2020 he is working as a clinician at the Dr. Alessandro Perucchi Private Dental Clinic (www.perucchi.dentist) in Mendrisio (Switzerland) and from 2022 collaborator for oral surgery at the Dr. Lorenzo Vanini Private Dental Clinic “Studio Vanini” in Chiasso (Switzerland).  Since January 2026 Dr. Cristian Scognamiglio became owner of the Private Dental Clinic “Studio Odontoiatrico Dr. Perucchi e Dr. Scognamiglio” in Mendrisio (Switzerland).
Dr. Cristian Scognamiglio is active in the clinical researches related to oral surgery and implants, his works have been published on different dental journals and he participates as a speaker for national and international congresses. Since 2022 he is a Key Opinion Leader for Polydentia and in 2023 he was selected as one of the “ World’s Top 100 Doctors 2023” and he became Key Opinion Leader for Straumann, Neodent, Bluem, Bausch and Coltene.

From 2024 Dr. Cristian Scognamiglio became Invited Professor in Implantology at the University “ILAPEO College in Curitiba – Paranà – Brazil”, lecturer at the “Istituto Stomatologico Toscano in Lido Di Camaiore – Italy” and at the University “Saint Camillus in Rome – Italy”.
In 2024 he obtained the Second Level Master’s Degree In Oral Surgery and Advanced Implantology at the University Saint Camillus in Rome (Italy) and he was nominated President for the Switzerland Division of the “Dental AI Association”.
Since 2024 he is an ITI (International Team For Implantology) Speaker and in 2026 he was selected as an ITI Fellow.
In 2025 Dr. Cristian Scognamiglio was selected in the “Hall Of Fame World’s Top 100 Doctors” and he became a member of the “Bluem Medical Board”.
In 2026 he was nominated “Global AI Expert” by AIMEDENT Experts Forum.
Dr. Cristian Scognamiglio is a member of SSO (Swiss Dental Association), DDS (Digital Dentistry Society), EAO (European association for Osseointegration), ITI (International Team for Implantology), OMDCT (Canton Ticino Dental Association).
