Dr. Tim Ricks DMD, MPH, FICD, FACD, FPFA
Rear Admiral (Ret.) Timothy L. Ricks, DMD, MPH, FICD, FACD, FPFA, retired USPHS chief dental officer served as the 20th Chief Dental Officer of the U.S. Public Health Service as well as Assistant Surgeon General from 2018 to 2022. Dr. Ricks served in the U.S. Public Health Service for over 23 years as a clinician and an administrator, and over 35 years of total federal service including military service.
Margherita Fontana DDS, PHD
Margherita Fontana, DDS, PhD, is the Clifford Nelson Endowed Professor of Dentistry in the Department of Cariology, Restorative Sciences and Endodontics, and Director of the Global Initiatives Program in Oral and Craniofacial Health at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry (U-M). She currently is Co-chair of the Alliance for a Cavity Free Future (ACFF) Canada-US Chapter, and Vice-President of the European Organization for Caries Research (ORCA).
Robert J. Weyant M.S. D.M.D. Dr.P.H.
Robert Weyant, is professor dental public health, epidemiology, and translational sciences and chair of the Department of Dental Public Health at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Weyant is the current editor-in-chief of the Journal of Public Health Dentistry. Dr. Weyant’s research involves general and social epidemiological research related to oral health disparities and oral disease etiology.
