Dr. Michael Goldberg is currently an Associate Professor in the Discipline of Periodontics at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry. He is the director of the Severe and Refractory Periodontal Disease Treatment Unit at the Faculty and the newly-formed Implant Monitoring Clinic, also at the Faculty.
Dr. Goldberg is engaged in an overall review of the influence of systemic, genetic and environmental factors on the development and treatment of periodontal disease. In addition, he is the head of the division of Periodontology as well as an associate in the Wasser Pain Management Centre at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. Dr. Goldberg is a partner in private specialty practice, limited to periodontics and implant surgery, in downtown Toronto.
