Day 1: WIN Global Online Symposium: Your implant journey: from Basics to Beyond

Charlotte Stilwell is a specialist prosthodontist in private practice in Harley Street, London, and a senior lecturer at University of Geneva. She trained at the Royal Dental College in Copenhagen, Denmark and has held part-time lecturer posts at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. Charlotte Stilwell is currently president of the ITI International Team for Implantology and a member of the ITI Board of Directors. Charlotte is a founder member of WIN (Women Implantology Network).

Dr. Adela Laverick is a Specialist Prosthodontist working in Private practice in Scotland UK where she works with a team of specialists and provides a wide range of implant restorations, from single teeth to full arch fixed and removable solutions. Adela has been an active committee member of WIN UK and Ireland since it was first created 4 years ago and is passionate about supporting more women into implant dentistry. Adela is currently working with the WIN Global initiative on projects to help raise its visibility and is responsible for the WIN Classroom on the ITI Academy. Adela has been a member of the ITI for 13 years and co-directs her local ITI Study Club.

Degree in Dentistry, University of Ghent, Belgium. Master Degree of Advanced Studies in Periodontology, University of Berne, Switzerland. Specialist in Periodontology recognized by the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP). ITI Fellow since 2008 and ITI Study Club Director since 2009 in Palma de Mallorca. Publications in national and international dental journals. Oral and poster presentations in national and international dental meetings. Co-director of the official Journal of SEPA (Sociedad Española de Periodoncia y Osteointegración) published 3 times a year. Founding member of WIN group (Women Implantology Network) since 2016. Owner of private practice in Palma de Mallorca, working as a specialist in Periodontology and Implantology.

Graduated in Dental Medicine in 2017 at Dental Medicine Faculty, University of Lisbon, Portugal, where was invited to be part of Teaching Methodologies in Fixed Prosthodontics until 2019.
In 2018, finished a Continuing Education in Aesthetic Dental Medicine, at Dental Medicine Faculty, Complutense University of Madrid, and was part of the Lisbon Implantology Week for several years at Lisbon Dentistry Academy.
During her career, Diana de Macedo participated in several intensive courses and presented several oral communications, being author and co-author of several articles and posters, mainly in Implantdontics, Oral Surgery and Fixed Prosthodontics with digital workflow. In 2020, started to be the coordinator of an advanced training center specialized in the training of new methodologies and innovative techniques, especially in the areas of implantology and digital workflow, Lisbon Dentistry Academy.
Currently is responsible for the entire department of surgery and digital rehabilitation at Clínica Hugo Madeira, in Portugal.

Dr. Olympia Karacosta is an Assistant Professor at Tufts University in the Department of Comprehensive Care. Dr. Karacosta has received her first dental degree, D.D.S., from University of Athens, Greece, School of Dental Medicine. She was then accepted at Tufts University where she completed the Esthetic Dentistry Fellowship Program. In 2007, she received her second dental degree, D.M.D., from Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine and the same year she completed the Implant Dentistry Fellowship in the Implant Center at Tufts University. In 2013, she started teaching in the Postgraduate Program in Advanced Education in Esthetics and Operative Dentistry, at Tufts University, Dental School.

Dr. Karacosta has been in a dental private practice in Athens, Greece before coming to the US. She has been practicing in a private office in Boston since 2007.

Dr. Karacosta has been a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society and the American Dental Association. Recently, she became an Affiliate member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) and a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI). She is also the Communication Officer of the US ITI Section since May 2022.  She continuously attends dental national and international meetings, related to Esthetic Dentistry and Implants. She has been giving continuing education courses related to Esthetic Dentistry and also presented in dental meetings all related with Esthetic and Implant Dentistry as well. She has a passion for Esthetic Dentistry and offering the best quality dentistry for her patients. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, swimming and photography.
