A new approach to single-file reciprocation technique
The webinar will describe the advantages and benefits of the reciprocating motion and the single-file approach based on clinical experience and scientific article, including a proper analysis of the differences with continuous rotation
The webinar will describe the advantages and benefits of the reciprocating motion and the single-file approach based on clinical experience and scientific article, including a proper analysis of the differences with continuous rotation . Then it will describe the latest innovation in manufacturing which nowadays allows nickel-titanium instruments to improve their performance, and the value of a less invasive approach when using a single file technique. Based on these findings a new approach to single file reciprocating instrumentation will be presented aiming at improving efficacy, safety and number of cases treated, also including retreatment ones. The new approach is also designed to minimize some disadvantages of the motion in terms of canal debridement.
Learning objectives
Understand the differences between continuous rotation and reciprocation
Understand the difference in instrument design in terms of performance
Evaluate a new approach with new instruments and new operative technique for single file instrumentation
