Powder therapy has transformed the way clinicians approach biofilm management, offering an effective and minimally invasive alternative to conventional instrumentation. However, successful periodontal care is not defined by a single technology, but by selecting the most appropriate intervention based on individual patient needs. This webinar explores the role of powder therapy within the philosophy of Minimally Invasive Therapy (M.I.T.), demonstrating how contemporary biofilm management integrates with evidence-based periodontal care, patient-centred decision making and the European S3 clinical guidelines. Delegates will gain a practical understanding of where powder therapy fits within the M.I.T. treatment pathway, when it should be used, when alternative instrumentation may be more appropriate, and how combining technologies can improve both clinical outcomes and patient experience.
Aim
To develop delegates’ understanding of how powder therapy can be integrated within the philosophy of Minimally Invasive Therapy, enabling clinicians to make evidence-based decisions that optimise biofilm management whilst preserving tooth structure and supporting long-term periodontal health.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this webinar delegates will be able to:
